Ein weiterer GRAND SLAM!!!
There are no translations available.

Kamil Stoch wins the Grandslam

The 4 Hills Tournament is over and it has one historic chapter more!

The Pole Kamil Stoch was not only able to defend his victroy from last season, he achieved something, only one person had done before him. He won all four competitons of the 4 Hills Tournament in one season - Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen. Only Sven Hannawald was able to pull off this feat - 2001/2002.

Sven Hannwald was also one of the first congratulants in the outrun of the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen. The ski jumping world bows infront of "King Kamil". Congrats!

The 4 Hills Tournament in Innsbruck 2018

Again a 4 Hills Tournament event at the Bergisel ended; with an absolute worthy winner Kamil Stoch and even more amazing ski jumping fans.

Although there were no major problems concerning the wind, the hard rain was a real test for the more than 16.000 spectators. Nevertheless so many people found their way to the Bergisel stadium and cheered loudly for all the ski jumpers, as it is known from Innsbruck. A big hands up for all of you, who again created this unique and absolutely amazing atmosphere at the Bergisel!!

But also the athletes had to offer plenty. Last year's winner Daniel-Andre Tande landed this time on the 2nd place behind this year's dominator Kamil Stoch. 3rd place went to Andreas Wellinger. A very exciting competition which led to this diverse podium.

For a moment the whole stadium hold its breath, when Richard Freitag - one of the tournament's favorites - crashed in the outrun during the landing phase due to crossed over skies. We wish you all the best Richard and are looking forward to see you next year again in Innsbruck.

In this regard we are looking forward to the 67th 4 Hills Tournament next season.
