"Innsbrucks plays a very importnant role for the Austrian Ski Association, as support point and traditional station of the 4 Hills Tournament. To have perfect training conditions here in Innsbruck is very important for our preparations for great sports events, explains Heinz Kuttin, chief trainer of the Austrian Ski Jumping Team.

Peter Riedl will deliver exactely what he says: "The 4 Hills Tournament is the hightlight of the ski jumping calendar. Contrary to great sports events, the Bergisel hill needs to be perfectly in shape every year - no matter what weather conditions. We work with the Austrian Ski Association for several years now and I'm very happy that we were allowed to get this great project done together."

That was the 4 Hills Tournament 2017 in Innsbruck

What a dramatic ski jumping competition!?

Due to the strong wind, the nearly 20.000 spectators could watch only one competition round at the legendary Bergisel. Daniel Andre Tande was the man of the day. He won the 4 Hills Tournament in Innsbruck with 128,5m ahead of Robert Johansson and Evgeniy Klimov.

Therby Tande took the lead in the overall 4 Hills Tournament ranking, closely ahead of Kamil Stoch, who landed on the 4th place. Stefan Kraft - stricken by a virus - backdropped to the 3rd overall place, also due to bad wind conditions.

Today and tomorrow the final in Bischofshofen will take place.

Stefan Kraft wins Qualification
